MonitorMouse for Macintosh Release 3.0

Elo TouchSystems announces the 3.0 release of the MonitorMouse for Macintosh touchscreen driver. With this latest update, now fully compatible with the advanced MacOS 8 operating system, Elo reaffirms its commitment to support the Mac operating environment for multimedia touch applications. The driver provides a number of important feature enhancements for the multimedia kiosk developer:

• Designed and tested for full compatibility with MacOS 8.
• Improved driver stability over previous versions, it corrects the "Unimplemented trap" error.
• The driver code is ported from ThinkC to MetroWerks CodeWarrior to bring it up to date and make future maintenance easier.
• Added support for supplemental Mac serial ports.
• Added automatic touchscreen controller search on serial ports (ADB search is already built-in).
