Release of Latest Revision of TouchTool CD (Rev C)

Release of latest revision of TouchTool CD (Rev C) will be available January 31, and will start shipping with all Entuitive Touchmonitors immediately. Arrangements have been made to ensure that all current inventory of touchmonitors will also ship with the updated CD. For existing inventory, the TouchTool CD Rev C will be attached to the outside of all touchmonitor boxes in a protected envelope, along with notice to use attached CD and discard older revision (Rev B) enclosed in box. These items will also be available to order separately. Below are the highlights of this current revision.

Software Updates

• Updated installation instructions for MonitorMouse for Windows 95/98 (release 2.01a), DOS & Windows 3.1 (release 2.0d) and USB98 (1.01a) drivers to NOT be floppy-centric.
• Includes recently released MonitorMice for NT 4.0 driver Version 3.10c, which includes the following changes:
  • New setup program that automates installation of the MonitorMice drivers and configures up to 4 touchmonitors for use on a single Windows NT Workstation.
  • "Help" feature has also been added to the MonitorMice configurator to assist users in their setup.
  • Control panel was resized to fit completely on a 640 x 480 display.
  • Calibration logic was enhanced to properly align touch with your video display even when the video image is not fully within the active area of the touch sensor.
  • Serial communications handshaking logic (and logic used when handshaking is disabled) was modified to match operation of other Elo drivers.

Other Changes on the CD

• Elo web site not included on this release due to technical difficulties
• Updated \Diags folder to include latest DOS diagnostic utilities that work on systems with >200+ processors and 2500S controllers.
• Added Acrobat Reader 4.0
• Choose "Browse this CD" to find the following new documentation:
  • Added latest US (April 99) and European Touchmonitor (Fall 99) catalogs
  • Added Touchmonitor User Guides for:
    • Elo Entuitive Touchmonitor User Guide For 15" and 17" CRT Touchmonitors
    • LCD Kiosk Touchmonitor User Guide (Models P284-LCD104-S, P284-LCD121-S and P284-LCD15-S)
    • Elo LCD Touchmonitor User Guide (Models ETL121K/P-6PWA-1, ETL121K/P-7PWA-1, ETL121K/P-8PWA-1, ETL150K/P-6PWA-1, ETL150K/P-7PWA-1 and ETL150K/P-8PWA-1)
