Understanding the Different Touch Technologies

Elo offers an industry-leading nine touch technologies. Each technology has its strengths and weaknesses, but there will always be one suitable for your needs.

Our Technologies section offers complete and detailed information on each of Elo's touch technologies:

• read the advantages of and typical uses for each technology

• review detailed comparisons of the technologies

Not all technologies are available on all of our products; for example, iTouch, Acoustic Pulse Recognition, and Projected Capacitive are not available as touchscreens–they are only available as part of an LCD (APR, capacitive) or CRT (iTouch). Our Products section indicates what technologies are available on what products.
