DOS and Windows v2.0c-1 Driver Installation
If you want to use a mouse with the 2.0c drivers,
you must first call a DOS mouse driver.
- Mouse.com version 8.2 is preferred for
Microsoft.
- Lmouse.com version 6.2 is preferred for Logitech
- If you cannot locate these drivers, contact tech
support.
Typically, you will enter a line in autoexec.bat:
- c:\mouse\mouse.com
- (assumes mouse.com is in a directory named
"mouse")
To install: a:\install (from DOS
only)
- For DOS-only applications, choose DOS Express
Installation.
- If you will be using the touchscreen with Windows
or with both DOS and Windows applications, choose Windows Express Installation.
- The controller type (serial or PC-Bus) will be
requested. You must know your controller type and its configuration.
- If you are unsure which controller type you have,
or its configuration, see the Hardware info section
- The controller model will be automatically
detected and the rest of the installation will be automatic, requiring only a few presses
of the <ENTER> key.
- If you get a run time error R6003 - integer divide
by zero, go to Troubleshooting section.
- After installation is complete, reboot the
system.
- If you will be using the touchscreen in Windows,
go to Control Panel, Touchscreen, Calibrate.
