Calibration Problems in DOS
If the
touchscreen responds in reverse, or simply refuses to accept calibration
from elocalib, there is probably more than one elograph.cal file on the
hard drive. Search the entire disk for all occurrences of
elograph.cal. Delete all files named elograph.cal, then run elocalib.
DOS calibration is performed by
running elocalib.
From a DOS prompt:
- cd\touch
- elocalib
- Video Mode list appears
- Select video mode to suit the application (if unsure, recalibrate in
several video modes)
- Press the C key to start the calibration
- Touch the calibration points
- upper left appears first
- lower right appears after first touch
- upper right appears after second touch
- Press the S key to save the points
- Press the Y key to save the points as the default calibration (in
autoexec.bat), then ENTER
- Press the Y key to update the calibration file, then ENTER to select
the defaults (elograph.cal)
A separate calibration routine must
also be performed to calibrate
the
touchscreen for use with Windows.
