Mouse Quit WorkingThe touchscreen driver installation program did not detect a DOS mouse driver call in AUTOEXEC.BAT, so it inserted a line to call NOMOUSE.COM. A DOS mouse driver or its equivalent is required for the touchscreen driver to load and function. If you reinstall the mouse from Windows, the touch drivers will be disabled. The simple solution is to copy a DOS mouse driver to your hard drive and insert a line in AUTOEXEC.BAT to call the mouse driver. Recommended mouse drivers are mouse.com Ver. 8.2 for Microsoft mouses and lmouse.com Ver. 6.2 for Logitech mouses. If you cannot locate one of these drivers, contact tech support. |
