Touch Quit Working in Windows

Probably, the Windows mouse drivers got re-installed somehow.

  • The 2.0c touchscreen drivers will only work with a DOS mouse driver
    • The DOS mouse driver operates the mouse both in DOS and in Windows

Check the following in the SYSTEM.INI file

    [boot]
    mouse.drv=monmouse.drv

    [boot description]
    mouse.drv=Elo TouchSystems MonitorMouse(R) for Windows

    [386Enh]
    mouse=vmmd.386

Change any mouse statements that are different from these, and make sure these are not preceded by a semicolon.

Make sure a DOS mouse driver is called in AUTOEXEC.BAT.
