Windows 2000 Driver

Notes

• The Windows 2000 v3.2.1 driver supports only single monitor configurations.
• The Windows 2000 v3.2.1 driver does not support PC-Bus controllers or older serial controllers.

Troubleshooting

• Step-by-step troubleshooting sequence
• Specific problems:
  • Click sounds on touch, but no cursor movement
    • Install a Mouse
    • If a mouse is already installed, run regedit; drill down to HKey_Local_Machine, System, CurrentControlSet, Services, MMStub; change the Start key from 1 to 0; reboot.
  • Cursor moves but will not select
    • Install a Mouse
  • Calibration problems
    • Touchscreen must be the primary monitor
  • Event log error messages
    • Change ConnectMultiplePorts registry key
  • Touchscreen drivers interfere with USB devices
    • Change ConnectMultiplePorts registry key
  • Click sounds on touch, but no cursor movement
    • If a mouse is not connected, connect a mouse, reboot and try again (mouse may be removed after touch drivers are installed)
