Disabling Handshaking in the Windows 2000 Driver

Run regedt32 and set the HardwareHandshaking key to 0.

                \EloTouchscreen
                    \NTSerial0
                            HardwareHandshaking = REG_DWORD 0x 00

Double-click the HardwareHandshaking key, enter the value, then click OK.
