Installing the Windows 2000 Driver
To Install the Driver
- From an unzipped downloaded file
- Start Windows Explorer
- Right-click the Start button
- Click Explore
- In the Win2K
Serial Driver directory (or the one you specified
at unzip time), double-click the SetupElo.exe file
- Go to "Continuation
...", below
- From the TouchTools CD
- Insert the CD into the drive
- Allow several seconds for the CD to Auto-Run
- Click "Install MonitorMouse for Windows
2000"
- Continuation of either case: Follow the
instructions
- Click Next
- Read the
license agreement, then click Yes
- Select the proper COM port
when the COM port list is displayed, then click Next
- Click the Finish button, then
YES to restart the computer.
- After reboot, Open
the Control Panel, double-click Elo, then click the Align button.
- The alignment targets appear in the upper left,
lower right and upper right corners of the display (as each one is touched, the next is
displayed).
- After touching the three
alignment targets, complete the touch test, then click Yes if
response is correct or No if re-alignment is required.
- Failure to click either
button within the 30 second timeout period will restore the
default calibration points (which may result in opposite-side
response).
