Installing the Windows 2000 Driver

To Install the Driver

  • From an unzipped downloaded file
    • Start Windows Explorer
      • Right-click the Start button
      • Click Explore
    • In the Win2K Serial Driver directory (or the one you specified at unzip time), double-click the SetupElo.exe file
    • Go to "Continuation ...", below
  • From the TouchTools CD
    • Insert the CD into the drive
    • Allow several seconds for the CD to Auto-Run
    • Click "Install MonitorMouse for Windows 2000"
  • Continuation of either case: Follow the instructions
    • Click Next
    • Read the license agreement, then click Yes
    • Select the proper COM port when the COM port list is displayed, then click Next
  • Click the Finish button, then YES to restart the computer.
  • After reboot, Open the Control Panel, double-click Elo, then click the Align button.
    • The alignment targets appear in the upper left, lower right and upper right corners of the display (as each one is touched, the next is displayed).
    • After touching the three alignment targets, complete the touch test, then click Yes if response is correct or No if re-alignment is required.
      • Failure to click either button within the 30 second timeout period will restore the default calibration points (which may result in opposite-side response).
