Windows 2000 Mouclass Not Installed

If the cursor will not move or select with touch, a mouse probably has never been installed on the system (hence the mouclass driver never got installed). Shut the system down, attach a mouse, then start the system. When the mouse is operating correctly, the touchscreen drivers may be installed. The mouse may be removed after the next shutdown and touch should work on all subsequent boots. The mouse may also be left connected.
