Windows 95/98/Me v3.00 Driver NotesThe following controllers are supported by the Windows 95/98/Me 3.00 driver:
All modern Elo TouchSystems monitors with a serial controller inside have one of the above controllers. To use touch with older bus controllers, use the Windows 95/98 v2.01 touchscreen driver. To use touch with older Elo serial controllers, use the DOS and Windows touchscreen driver, version 2.0c-2. When using the version 3.00 driver, if you shell out of Windows 95/98 to a full screen DOS Window and then touch the screen, the DOS window will close and control will return to Windows 95. Only full screen DOS windowed applications will exhibit this behavior; touch will function normally with windowed DOS applications that run in a normal window. To use touch with both Windows 95/98 and full screen DOS windowed applications, try uninstalling the 3.00 driver (Control Panel, Add/Remove Programs), and then install the DOS and Windows touchscreen driver, version 2.0c-1. This driver will support most DOS applications under Windows 95/98, although some applications, peripherals or hardware configurations may not function properly. |
