Windows XP/2000 Universal Driver SW600071 - Reference to COM Port Selection when Installing USBIf COM port selection comes up when installing the USB driver, there are remnants of a previous driver in the system. Search the hard drive for files named monmouse. Remove any instances of monmouse that are found in the system or system32 folders, or any of their subfolders Run regedit. Double-click down to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE, System, CurrentControlSet, Services. If a key named EloTouchscreen exists, delete it. See the Universal Driver Manual in the Program Files\Elo TouchSystems, Inc\Elo XP Universal Driver 430\Universal Driver Manual. Print the file list and registry entries pages and check your system for Elo serial files and registry entries; remove any that are found. Reboot the machine, then install the Universal USB Driver again. |
