Touch Solutions for DVD PlayersThe Phillips DVD-175 and Pioneer DVD-V7300D (older model) players can be used with Elo Touchmonitors with the addition of two relatively inexpensive converter boxes. As of November 2003, this solution no longer works with the Pioneer VD-V7400D, due to the fact that Pioneer changed their design internally. DoBiT, (pronounced DOE-bit), our Belgium distributor, offers a touch-to-DVD interface. It can be used with any Elo serial touchmonitor. This converts the serial touchmonitor data to a format that the DVD player can use. A video converter is also needed, as DVD players put out video formatted for TV, rather than the computer-standard VGA video. Search term: dvdpage |
