Customer Display: Testing the Installation

Only the virtual COM port configuration can be tested; there is no ops test for the device name configuration.

1. Get to a command prompt (Start, Programs, Accessories, Command prompt).
2. Type Echo >com3 Text
   • Text may be any string of 18 or fewer characters (more will overflow the display).
   • The text should appear on the Customer Display.
