1925L with Dell SX280 - No Video

The 1925L touchmonitor, when connected to the newer Dell SX280 computers via the DVI video interface cable, will display a black screen and the computer will not boot. The short-term solution for this problem is to enable the analog pins in the DVI connector by using the alternate cables supplied in both the Elo and Dell boxes.

• Find the DVI-to-VGA cable supplied with the Elo monitor
  • Six foot cable, white DVI connector on one end, blue VGA connector on the other end
• Find the DVI Y-cable supplied with the Dell computer
  • One foot split cable, white DVI connector on one end, blue VGA and white DVI connectors on the other end
• Connect the two blue VGA cables together
• Now connect the white DVI connectors on the ends of the newly constructed cable to the monitor and computer DVI connectors
• Power the system and proceed normally
