Removing the Stand

  • Remove the back cover from the stand:
    • Grasp the cover at the opening at the bottom; pull hard. A twisting force usually helps. You may have to pry a corner loose with a screwdriver to get it started.
  • Pry the top of the central plastic cover loose at the top, then slide it up and out.
  • Four screws secure the stand to the monitor. With the back cover removed from the stand, you can access the top two screws directly. The bottom two screws can be accessed by sticking the screwdriver through the two holes in the front cover of the stand.

Installing an Optional Mount

Use the shortest screws possible to secure the optional mount to the display. The original screws used to secure the stand will usually work. The object is to avoid excessively long screws that could damage the monitor's internal components.
