The 2210 serial controller (Part # 055165-000) uses the popular EIA RS-232C serial
interface for connection to a wide range of host computers. Hardware
and software handshaking are supported along with packet checksums
for reliable communication. The 2210 board is typically mounted
inside the display enclosure. Power is sourced inside the display.
