Moving from 2210 and 3000 Controllers to 2216 Controllers
To prepare for the transition to a RoHS compliant product, the 2210
(serial RS-232) and 3000U (USB) AccuTouch five-wire resistive
controllers are being discontinued. They will be replaced by the 2216
combo controller (serial RS-232 and USB). Elo strongly recommends that you
begin use of the new 2216 controller to prepare for the transition to RoHS compliance.

The new 2216 controller is not mechanically compatible with the 2210
and 3000U controllers. Its form factor is smaller and the cable connection changes to the new 20-pin Elo standard
(which is also used on the new controllers for surface wave, surface
capacitive, and infrared touchscreen technologies). Specifications for the
2216 are available in the Products section.
