Multifactor Authentication (MFA)

EloView enables its end users to use a second factor while doing high security operations. At first, EloView provides options for individual users to register their second factor and test it before using their second factor authentication. Once the users’ authentication factors are registered, EloView requires the second factor for login, content deployment, and support user actions.

To enable MFA, individual user need to register their second factor in their User Profile. Follow the below steps to register.

  • To access User profile Page, in top right corner, click on down arrow near user name
  • Select User Profile
  • Click on Edit Profile and Enable MFA Credentials (Follow instructions on the screen)

Once you enabled it, you will be prompted to insert name of MFA, as below, where add any name to your MFA and submit it.


Install any of the below listed applications on your phone.

  • Google Authenticator
  • Authy 2-Factor Authentication
  • FreeOTP Authenticator
  • Microsoft Authenticator

After installing the app, scan the generated QR code using this app.

After scanning QR code, it will generate a passcode in your phone, add this passcode to ELO to verify passcode, as screenshot below. Once it is verified successfully, submit it to complete the operation and apply the changes.

Once MFA is registered, this multifactor authentication will be applied to all the below functionalities.

  • Login page
  • Content Deploy
  • While accessing SubAccount from the parent account

You will get a prompt for the Multi Factor Authentication. Follow the instructions on the screen.
